Halloween 2007

Zachary didn't go Trick-or-Treating, but we finally got him in a good mood to take his picture in his costume by the time Hannah got back. He is sitting up by himself really well now, and we had a hard time getting him to stop playing long enough to take a picture. Hannah's fairy costume has fiber optic lights in the skirt. We didn't have many Trick-or-Treaters last night; most of them must have gone to the elementary school for "Trunk-or-Treat" instead of going to houses. I shut the cats up in the laundry room and Gus was unhappy about that, but I didn't want him chasing Trick-or-Treaters like he did two years ago.

Hannah's last soccer practice is tonight, and her last game is on Saturday. One of the other parents said that he thinks she is the most improved on the team since the season began. I can't believe it's only three weeks until Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday to Hannah!

It's hard to believe she's already 5 (even though we swear she acts like a teenager sometimes). I took her to get her ears pierced Saturday. I will try to post a picture later. She did pretty good during the piercing, but the gun got stuck on the earring on her first ear. She was brave though, and never said she didn't want the second ear pierced. I took her to Sweet & Sassy, and they were very good with her; she got a lollipop and a certificate with her picture on it.

Zachary has been moving around by rolling. He got almost all the way to Gus before he got tired.

Hannah's first soccer game was last Saturday. Towards the end of the game, she kicked the ball some, and she really seemed to enjoy it.

Zachary is 4 Months Old!

He has started rolling over and moving around constantly. At his checkup, he weighed 15 pounds 4 ounces, and was 26 inches long. 26 inches is the height limit for his infant seat, so we will be shopping for a new car seat this weekend.

Zachary Matthew arrived at 7:58 PM on April 28, 2007. He weighed 8 pounds 10.6 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long.

I think I'll name him George

Hannah apparently doesn't think Zachary is the best name for her little brother, so she told me "I think I'll name him George." She watched Curious George last week, so that must be where she got the idea.

Pre-K

Hannah got to move up to Pre-K yesterday. She was really excited about it. She already knows more than some of her classmates that have been in Pre-K for a while.
